What I learned:

In this chapter i learned a lot about how to work with refining masks and layers. I learned how to paint and modify a selection, apply filters to mask, create and use a gradient mask and isolate a channel to make specific image corrections. This chapter really focused on isolating and refining layers, which was confusing and difficult to me at first, but then it got easier.

Teks:

(describe how the interaction of technical systems helps solve complex problems.

(B) identify areas where codes, laws, standards, or regulations may be required; and

Prove places where rule and laws may be needed.

Explain how the use and involvement of technical systems helps to solve hard problems.

What I have learned:

This lesson really focused on working with layers, how to improve them, combine them,color them. I learned how to organize art work with layers, hide layers, apply blending modes to layers, apply a gradient layer, add text and add layer affects to the layer. This lesson really helped me to feel more comfortable with working with layers in photoshop because it gave me so much practice. Chapter five took some thinking and many times i had to re-do things, however i feel like i have gained a better overall knowledge on layering art work.

teks:

(use computer technology to record, locate, analyze, present, and exchange information.

(use machining software to produce or simulate the production of products;

Use tool software to come up with or encourage the making of things.

Use computer technology to do many things with information.

What I learned in lesson 3:

In lesson three, i really got to experiment with touching up and cloning certain images which is a very handy to know, because touching up an image can really make a difference and make a photo look a lot better. I learn how to use the clone stamp tool to eliminate an unwanted part of the image, how to use the spot healing tool to repair a part of the image, make corrections on a duplicate layer and adjust it for a natural look.

teks:

I learned how to straighten and crop and image, adjust the tonal range of an image, remove color and adjust the saturation and brightness of certain areas. I discovered how much Photoshop can brighten an image. It amazed me how different the same picture looked after playing around with saturation, brightness and sharpness. Chapter two has been a very big help!
