13.Some are “greyed out” because what you are currently typing does not refer to their purpose with your post. for example the hyper link and the remove hyper link are greyed out because you must highlight words, for them to be used and without doing that they won’t work.

It’s very helpful when you are trying to find a specific thing.When they say that “tags enable you to associate..” they mean that tags allow you to find posts with words or topics you are looking for by using a tab.
16.Categories put this specific post in a topic thats related to a group that speaks about that same things that i am talking about. For example if i happened to be writing about food today, i would put in it a food category where people could read what i said about food and about many others writing about food. Mister. Bjerke’s blog is in categories depending on his assignments, environment, grades, exam, HTML, information for the class. Also he has some posts that are not in categories because he has a number of uncategorized posts. the categories to tell us to complete it or not because the ones with assignments, we know that we have to complete, but environmental or uncategorized not as much.
17.Track backs and Excerpts are advanced options, normally i do not use them however, excerpts are optional handcrafted summaries about your post. Trackbacks are a way to notify legacy blog systems that you’ve linked to them, it is also an optional option.
18.Preview- allows you to preview what your post will look like on your page, Post- allows you to write new posts and Publish-allows you to share your blog with the rest of the blog community if you wish.
